Curriculum

Our pre-school curriculum is underpinned by the Practice Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The guidance divides children’s learning into seven areas. For each area, the guidance sets out early learning goals which state what it is expected that children will know and be able to do by the end of the reception year of their education. We use the guidance to help us to track each child’s progress and to enable us to provide the right activities to help all the children move towards achievement of the early learning goals.
