General Information

Holmhirst Pre School understands and values parents as the main carers and educators of their children and it is our aim to work in partnership with you to meet your child’s needs. We are available at the beginning and end of each session to provide feedback on your child’s day.  If this is not convenient please let us know and we will arrange a mutually convenient time.

Your child’s key person will also communicate regularly with you to discuss your child’s learning and welfare. If you would like to learn more about how we will work with you to ensure that your child receive the right care for them, please click here.

Holmhirst Pre-school helps children learn and develop by providing them with activities that are tailored for their age and stage of development. Our pre-school curriculum is underpinned by the Practice Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage. You can learn more here.

It is the policy of Holmhirst Pre-school that everyone will be treated individually and with equal concern. No child or adult will be discriminated against in any way regardless of gender, age, race, ethnic origin, religious belief, ability, class, culture, marital status or sexual orientation, and the staff are committed to reflecting this in our attitudes, activities and resources in pre-school.  If you would like to read some of our policies please click here or contact us for further information.
